Mr. Williams provides direction, oversight and management of the Department’s Information Technology activities. As the CIO, Mr. Williams is responsible for a $379.2 million budget, 265 employees and developing, modernizing and enhancing HUD’s outdated information systems. Prior to this, Mr. Williams served as the deputy CIO at the Department of the Interior [DOI] where he was responsible for ensuring that DOI met all of its IT requirements in Security, Architecture, IT Capital Investment Planning and Records Management.

Mr. Niedermayer leads a Customer Relationship and Performance Management organization in the Office of the Chief Information Officer. Mr. Niedermayer leads OCIO’s support for HUD’s transformation initiatives and he serves as Vice President at Large on the Board of the American Council for Technology.

He is also the strategist for FederalNewsRadio.com, and the founder, publisher and editor of the DorobekInsider.com, a leading blog for the Federal IT community. And in 2010, he was awarded FCW’s prestigious Federal 100 Award.
